Finding Cassie
Single facilitated creative story telling and writing
Taking as his starting point the picture "Tar Beach" by Faith Ringold, Private Investigator Theodopolos D. Scover describes Cassie, lying on the roof of her apartment, gazing at the stars and dreaming of flying away.
Her imagination is so strong that one day she flies too far and her parents call in the investigator to discover where she has gone.
He cannot solve the mystery on his own, so enlists your pupil's help using cryptic clues. But the investigator is called away, so he leaves the final clues for your pupils to solve. The story looks at adventure and mystery, will encourage creative thinking and allow the children's imaginations to run wild.
