Our music for PPA cover aims to help inspire your pupils with a real understanding and appreciation of music.

Pupils will learn about rhythm, sound and basic musical concepts, learning to read music, hold a tune and play pieces individually and as part of a group.

Over the course of the sessins pupils will learn to recognise different instruments and which category they belong to. They will learn to listen to music and respond to it, being able to discuss how a piece of music made them feel and why.

Pupils will learn to understand what is involved in composing a piece of music and will be provided with the tools and encouraged to experiment with their own composition, as a group and individually.

Our tutors aim to make music fun through the use of musical games and exercises.

Work on vocal techniques, strengthening the voice, learning about breath control, harmonies, and relaxation techniques will also be covered.
