Singing and Music in Primary SchoolsChildren often gain their first experience of singing and music in primary schools and Caboodle workshops are a fantastic way to ensure that this experience is a rewarding one.
We can follow your pupils through primary school, helping to deepen and broaden their musical experiences and skills, through a variety of workshops and programmes, many leading to public performances.In addition, we can offer INSET Training within your school. Alternatively we are able to provide you with ongoing tutoring in the form of PPA provision, enabling pupils to develop their musical abilities over a period of time. In this way we can work with them on performance pieces, or help you to include a musical element in end-of-term productions. Singing is a wonderful tool for improving confidence and uplifting mood. Working on your skills can also improve breathe control, vocal strength, posture and concentration. Our fully qualified tutors will teach your pupils breath control, voice control & refinement, relaxation techniques, harmonizing, presentation and performance techniques. Caboodle tutors are able to teach a wide range of musical styles, such as Musical Theatre, Gospel, Choral, African Chanting, Classical, A Capella or Popular Music. We can also teach cultural styles of music, usually as part of a specific performance piece. MusicCourses can start at the simplest level of introducing rhythm, sound & basic musical concepts.Pupils can go on to learn notation, harmony, instruments and composition.
