Stage Combat Summer Schools

Stage combat is the practice of creating the illusion of physical combat for Theatre, Film or Television. These workshops are exciting and energetic, but at all times remain committed to the safe practice of fighting within a dramatic context.

Workshops available include Unarmed Combat skills, such as illusory slaps, punches, kicks, throwing and holding techniques or Weapon Fights, using theatrical adaptations of Fencing such as Rapier and Dagger work, Small sword and Broadsword as well as the use of other weapons.

However, stage combat includes any form of choreographed violence, so the options are endless! Workshops are led by 2 fully qualified fight instructors who provide fantastic learning opportunities within their first class workshops.
