The Pirate

Single facilitated creative story teling and writing

For younger ones The Pirate will explore a world of mystery and magic lying behind hidden doors.

the pirate story telling and creative writing workshops Portal keys, words, games and exercises will lead pupils through an adventure story with a strong moral, encouraging your pupils to consider how they might behave if this adventure was theirs.

Pupils will be really involved, joining in as pirate crew and when the pirate leaves they can revisit the land of Take What You Want and write their own adventure, either as part of a follow on workshop or as future work to be delivered by the class teacher.

Suitable for: Key Stage 1 to Year 3

Curriculum: In addition to contributing directly to the English curriculum, both these pieces wil help in the work of delivering Creativity across the Curriculum.
